I'm Alex Hall, a professional party singer and entertainer based in the North East of England. I've performed at hundreds of private celebrations across Newcastle, Sunderland, South Shields, Durham, Northumberland and North Yorkshire — from intimate gatherings of thirty to events with hundreds of guests. Whether it's classic Motown for a 60th, 80s hits for a 50th, 90’s Anthems for a 40th or current chart anthems for a 30th, your set list is built around your birthday. I'll even learn a specific song if there's something that means the most.

Live performance is one thing. But what happens between sets? With my singer-DJ package, there are no gaps, no awkward silences, and no mood changes as the DJ from a separate company tries to match the energy.

I perform live sets and DJ between them — one person, one consistent vibe, all night. It's the most popular option for private party bookings and the one that keeps guests dancing from start to finish.

I also offer compere and hosting — making announcements, introducing speeches, keeping the evening running smoothly so the host can actually enjoy their own party.

PARTY BOOKING FAQS

What types of party do you perform at?

Milestone birthdays (any age), anniversary parties, retirement celebrations, engagement parties, christenings, garden parties, and any private celebration where live music would make the day or night.

How long do you perform for?

Standard packages include multiple live sets with DJ music between. We'll agree the full running order at the consultation stage.

Can I request specific songs?

Yes — your set list is built around you. Submit requests in advance and I'll do everything I can to accommodate them.

Do you bring your own sound system?

Yes. Professional state of the art PA, speakers, mixing desk, and wireless microphones are included in every booking. Nothing extra needed from your venue.

What's the difference between the singer-only and singer-DJ packages?

Singer-only: live vocal performance for agreed sets. Singer-DJ: I also DJ between live sets and hosting to keep the music going all night without a separate DJ supplier.
